Kidlington sits on the A4260 between Oxford and Banbury, with the A34 to the east and the A44 to the west. Oxford Parkway station, opened in 2015 at Water Eaton, links the area to London Marylebone.
Most homes in Kidlington have drives or off-street parking, and the roads are wide enough for recovery vehicles. Collection is simple almost everywhere in the village.
Oxford’s Zero Emission Zone pilot covers a small part of the city centre, several miles south. A car kept and driven in Kidlington is not charged. If you regularly drive into central Oxford, though, check the current zone boundary before deciding what to do with an older car.
