The B376 runs through the village between Staines and Datchet, and junction 13 of the M25 is a short drive away. Wraysbury Reservoir and a ring of flooded gravel pits surround the village, and across the river lies Runnymede, where Magna Carta was sealed.
Being so close to the Thames, parts of Wraysbury are prone to flooding in wet winters. A car that has taken in floodwater can develop electrical faults months later, and owners often decide that scrapping is the safer option.
If your car has been flooded, do not try to start it: water drawn into the engine can cause far more damage. Describe the flooding when you get a valuation, and the car can be collected as it stands.
Some homes near the lakes are reached by private roads. Mention any gates or weight limits on the way.
